Stratford International
Stratford International is located next to the existing Stratford
Regional station, the London Olympic Park and Westfield Stratford City.
London 2012 Olympics
Stratford International station neighbours the Olympic village park and
stadium, where the London 2012 Olympics will take place! Stratford will
operate a special shuttle service during the Olympic season called
Olympic-Javelin, these trains will arrive every three minutes from
either Kent or St Pancras in London.
Stratford is in the London Borough of Newham in the Eastend of London
and is linked to the Docklands Light Railway service on the London
Underground and Overground railway services.
Channel Tunnel services are not yet available from Stratford
International, however Startford is the nearest highspeed station to
central London and this will be beneficial to the regeneration of
London's Eastend, Kent and the London 2012 Olympics.
Access to International Train Services
Stratford International does not travel directly from UK to Europe.
However the high speed trains provide ideal transport for commuters
taking just 7 minutes to St Pancras in Central London, UK. Eurostar
International train services enable travel to top European destinations
and cities such as Brussels, Lille, Paris and Disneyland Paris ....
International trains depart from St Pancras International, Ebbsfleet
International and Ashford International to Europe. A direct connection
to international Eurostar trains is not available yet, however Stratford
has easy access by train to international terminals such as St Pancras
International station. High speed trains reduce journey times between
London, with an average travel time to St Pancras or Ebbsfleet of just 7
- 11 minutes at high speed.
